THE STORY:


Based on the original Zulu tyre sandals made along South Africa’s East Coast, the METRO= V2 URBAN ZULU SANDAL is one of our longest running styles.

This is not a reinvention. It is a continuation.

The shape has been refined over time, with an inset heel replacing the old stuck on version for better balance and durability. Otherwise, they are made the same way they always have been, because it works.

These sandals have a loyal following. People come back for second and third pairs, wearing them for everything from something smarter to gardening as they wear in. They start out tough and end up deeply comfortable. The kind of comfort you earn.

MATERIAL:
Leather uppers and leather insole.
Sole cut from repurposed mining conveyor belting.

FINISH & FIT:


Thick natural leather that softens and shapes to your foot over time.
Hard on the first day. Comfortable after a few wears. Extremely durable.

SIZING:


South African shoe sizes are the same as UK sizes.
Fits true to size. Choose your regular size.
