METRO= CHIP CHECK SHIRT / INDIGO CHECK

THE STORY:

The CHIP CHECK SHIRT marks the return of a reworked METRO= classic; the lightweight cotton over dyed indigo and black check, previously called the LUMBERJACK SHIRT. It is a sibling of THE LOGGER, so Barry initially called it the Chipper, a natural progression from the LUMBERJACK and LOGGER, but this is not a rugged shirt, it’s a smart shirt.

So we settled on the CHIP CHECK SHIRT after meeting a new friend on the beach with the neat crisp name of Chip. True story.

This shirt is pared down, relying on the the cut, the quality of the fabric and the handsome, dashing but subtle qualities of the smouldering dark indigo and black check.

FABRIC: 

100% fine cotton.

FINISH & FIT: 

A lined back yoke. 1 chest pocket

A one piece sleeve with a pleat at the cuff.

A pointed collar and rounded cuffs.

A loop at the back of the collar to allow you to hang it from a hook.

Small black chalk buttons.

Like the LOGGER, this pattern is based on the BLACKSMITH’S SHIRT, body contoured but not tight.

Fits true to size; choose your regular size.
