METRO= PERKINS SS LINEN SHIRT / CURACAO

THE STORY

The Perkins SS is an updated version of our Hemingway Shirt which we developed for a fisherman customer of ours who wanted a short sleeved summer shirt, hence the name.
When we came across this deliciously wacky linen check we had to do a version, think old school Hawaiian shirts and those worn in the series Mad Men but with a better cut and much better fabric!

We’ll send your shirt to you slightly crumpled just like you’ve been fishing for a week, but clean.

Why Perkins SS you may ask? Because Perkins was Heminway’s agent and SS stands for “summer shirt” or “short sleeve” and they just went together on the pattern so well that we kept it.

FABRIC: 

100% pre-shrunk linen check.

This is linen on another level, luxurious with a slight crispness that’s hard to explain, it’s like that feeling when you know you’re in the presence of greatness.

FINISH & FIT: 

Slightly fitted but not tight. Pointed collar.

Lined back yoke. Antique copper jean buttons.

SIZING: 

Fits true to size. We suggest you choose your regular size.

Barry is 179cm tall and is wearing a size M.
