ORDER CONFIRMATION

When METRO= HANDMADE has received your order, you will receive an e-mail confirming your order. We reserve the right not to deliver in the event that the stock level was incorrect at the time of receiving the order. Should we be unable to deliver in accordance with the terms in the confirmation of order, we will contact you and give you the opportunity to cancel the order.
By approving these terms & conditions and confirming your order, a binding agreement is entered.

HANDLING TIME

South African orders: 1-5 working days.
Other countries: 2-7 working days.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

LOCAL SHIPPING

Orders within South Africa are shipped from Cape Town through Courier Guy.

Delivery to Cape Town addresses will happen the day after we dispatch your order. For orders elsewhere in South Africa, delivery will take up to three working days, excluding Public Holidays. Please note that during COVID-19 delivery times are longer than normal.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

All international orders are shipped from South Africa through our shipping partner FedEx. We offer free international shipping, and delivery will take 2-3 business days, excluding Public Holidays. Please note that during COVID-19 shipping times are longer than normal.

NOTE: Many countries add extra import taxes and VAT to incoming packages from foreign companies. It is up to you, the customer, to know about and to pay for the shipping taxes in your own country. METRO= HANDMADE is not responsible for any additional costs accrued from custom taxation or abandoned packages. International purchasers must agree to these terms when placing orders.

RETURNS

IN-STORE PURCHASES

For items bought in our ATELJÉ in Cape Town, purchases can be returned to the store for an exchange or refund within 30 days of purchase.

Please present a proof of purchase when claiming a refund.

Products must be returned unused and unworn and all original packaging with pricing, labels, hangtags etc. must be intact.

The purchase price of the original item(s) will be refunded upon inspection thereof. You will be credited to the original method of payment.

Returns that do not comply with the above listed criteria will not be refunded.

ONLINE PURCHASES

Purchases can be returned for an exchange or refund within 30 days of receipt of the goods. You have the right to open the package to check your goods and to try them on, but products must be returned unused and unworn.

If you wish to make a return, please send an email to: hello [at] metro handmade.co.za with your order number and the reason for your return.

All original packaging with pricing, labels, hangtags etc. must be intact. No effects such as tape or adhesive are to be attached to the product or the packaging.

The purchase price of the original item(s) will be refunded upon receipt and inspection thereof. You will be credited to the original method of payment.

Returns that do not comply with the above listed criteria will not be refunded. Please note that you are responsible for the product until it reaches us, so send the package with a traceable service so it can be located. Return shipment is not covered by METRO= HANDMADE.

WARRANTY CLAIMS

All METRO= HANDMADE products come with a 6 month warranty against faults in materials and manufacture. This warranty covers production faults, not wear and tear from regular use.
If you believe you have a warranty claim, please send and email to: hello[at]metrohandmade.co.za. Please include your order number, photos of the suspected fault and a brief description of the claim.

We do not issue refunds for items bought on sale, so please ensure you are happy with your item(s) before you buy​!​
